Eventus Community Guidelines

Effective Date: April 8, 2026

Eventus is a platform to create, discover, and share events and connect with others. To keep our community safe, respectful, and enjoyable, all users must follow these Community Guidelines when using the Services.

1. Be Respectful

Treat others with respect in all interactions, both online and at events.

Do not:

  • Harass, bully, or threaten other users

  • Use hate speech or discriminatory language

  • Engage in abusive or intimidating behavior

2. No Harmful or Dangerous Behavior

Eventus is used to organize real-world gatherings—safety matters.

Do not:

  • Promote or organize events that involve violence or illegal activity

  • Encourage self-harm or dangerous behavior

  • Post content that could put others at risk

Users should use caution and good judgment when attending events or interacting with others.

3. Authentic Events and Tickets Only

All users should help maintain mutual trust in the platform.

Do not:

  • Post fake or misleading events

  • Sell or transfer invalid, counterfeit, or duplicate tickets

  • Misrepresent event details (time, location, price, access, etc.)

You must have the legal right to sell or transfer any ticket you list.

4. No Fraud or Scams

Do not:

  • Attempt to defraud other users

  • Circumvent payments or fees by moving transactions off-platform

  • Use the platform for deceptive or misleading purposes

5. Respect Privacy

Do not:

  • Share someone else’s personal or private information without consent

  • Record or post content of others without appropriate permission

  • Use the platform to stalk, track, or exploit others

6. Appropriate Content Only

Eventus is a broad community—content should be appropriate for a general audience.

Do not post:

  • Pornographic or sexually explicit content

  • Graphic violence

  • Illegal content

  • Content that is misleading or deceptive

7. Follow the Law

You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to:

  • Events and permits

  • Ticket sales and resale

  • Alcohol, drugs, and controlled substances

8. Follow Organizer Rules

When attending an event, you agree to follow:

  • The Organizer’s rules

  • Venue policies

  • Any stated event requirements

Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.

9. Reporting and Enforcement

If you see something that violates these Guidelines, please report it through the app.

Eventus may take action, including:

  • Removing content or events

  • Canceling tickets or transactions

  • Suspending or terminating accounts

We review reports and enforce these Guidelines at our discretion.

10. Use Good Judgment

Not every situation can be covered by rules. We expect users to act responsibly and in good faith when using Eventus.

11. Violations

Violations of these Guidelines may result in:

  • Content removal

  • Account suspension

  • Permanent bans

  • Legal action where appropriate

12. Updates

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. Continued use of the Services means you agree to the updated Guidelines.

These Community Guidelines are incorporated into and form part of the Eventus Terms of Service.
